The Concealed Pole, the Known Mohammedian Seal, the Seal of Special Mohammedian Sainthood, Shaykh Abil Abbas Sidi Ahmed Tijani (may Allah be pleased with him)

89. Sayyida Tahira, the Mother of the Righteous Friend, the Renowned Pole, Sidi Mohammed al-Arabi ibn Sayeh, may Allah be pleased with him 

She is the Mother of the Righteous Friend, the Renowned Pole, Sidi Mohammed al-Arabi ibn Sayeh, may Allah be pleased with him. She was a virtuous woman with a devout and pious mind, as true religion requires. And as her name, Tahira (the Pure) indicates, her origin is connected with purity: Thus she was God-invoking; showering many prayers upon the Messenger, peace and blessing be upon him; from among the people of the Prayer of Salat al-Fatih; having a strong fondness for Sidna Shaykh, may Allah be pleased with him, and his companions. When pregnant of her aforementioned son, one of the Friends said to her: “You will bore a child whose matter will be such-and-such.” And, verily, she was, may Allah be pleased with her, having a strong fondness for her son, the Majestic Pole, Sidi Mohammed al-Arabi ibn Sayeh. And she gave birth to no other child except him. The Allama Mohammed Tariki said about her in his book, “Zahr al-Fai’h fi-Tarjama-t Abil Mawahib Sidi al-Arabi ibn Sayeh” (The Fragrant Blossom in the Hagiography of Abil Mawahib Sidi Al-Arabi Ibn Sayeh): “Mawlana Sayyid (Sidi al-Arabi), may Allah be pleased with him, narrated to me the reason of taking of the Wird of our Shaykh, may Allah be pleased with him. And the Reason being that one day his mother perfumed with bukhur a place in which he remembered a special recollection to see the Chosen, peace and blessing be upon him. That night, and it was a Thursday night (Laylat al-Jumu’a), he saw his father Sidi Mohammed ibn Sayeh addressing him, ‘Do you want to see the Messenger, peace and blessing be upon him.’ ‘Yes,’ he answered him. He took him whereof to a place where a group of men were carrying out the Wadhifa, and said to him, ‘Here he is amid this community!’ Then, he took the Path of our Master, may Allah be pleased with him.”

السيدة الطاهرة والدة القطب الشهير سيدي محمد العربي بن السائح  والدة الولي الصالح القطب الشهير سيدي محمد العربي بن السائح رضي الله تعالى عنه، امرأة فاضلة تقية، طاهرة إسماً على مسمى، مواظبة على ذكر الله، كثيرة الصلاة على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، من أهل صلاة الفاتح لما أغلق، لها محبة قوية في جناب سيدنا الشيخ وأصحابه، قال لها أحد الأولياء لما كانت حاملة بولدها المذكور : سيولد لك مولود يكون من شأنه كذا وكذ. وكانت رضي الله عنها كثيرة المحبة لولدها القطب الجليل سيدي محمد العربي بن السائح، ولم تنجب غيره، وقد قال عنها العلامة محمد التريكي في كتابه الزهر الفائح، في ترجمة أبي المواهب سيدي العربي بن السائح : حكى لي مولانا السيد رضي الله عنه سبب أخذه لورد سيدنا الشيخ رضي الله عنه، وهو أن أمه كانت تبخر له بقعة يذكر فيها ذكراً لرؤيا المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم، فرأى في تلك الليلة وهي ليلة الجمعة والده سيدي محمد بن السائح يخاطبه قائلا : أتريد أن ترى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ فقال له : نعم، فجاء به إلى جماعة يقرؤن الوظيفة، فقال له: ها هو وسط هؤلاء القوم، فأخذ طريق سيدنا رضي الله عنه. إهـ...
