7. Sayyida Mabrouka, the Wife of Sidna Shaykh Abil Abbas Sidi Ahmed b. Mohammed Tijani al-Hassani (may Allah be pleased with him)

She is the wife of the Concealed Pole Abil Abbas Sidi Ahmad Tijani, may Allah be pleased with him. She is the mother of his son Sidi Mohammed al-Kabir who was born in the noble village of Abi Samghoune at the Eastern Sahara. The Allama Skirej mentioned her in one of his letters that he dispatched to the previous Sultan, Mawlay Abdulhafidh: “She is from the women slaves that our Master given her freedom and cared for her needs. Never had he sexual intercourse with one of them by the right of possession. Whenever he wanted one of them he given her freedom, and married her.”

السيدة مبروكة  زوجة سيدنا القطب المكتوم أبي العباس سيدي أحمد التجاني رضي الله تعالى عنه، وهي أم ولده سيدي محمد الكبير، المولود بدير أبي سمغون بالصحراء الشرقية، وقد وقفت على رسالة للعلامة سكيرج بعث بها للسلطان الأسبق المولى عبد الحفيظ قال فيها في معرض حديثه عن هذه السيدة الفاضلة: وَهي من معتقاته اللاتي كان له بهن أكبر اعتناء، ولم يكن يطأهن بملك اليمين، بل كَان إذا أراد واحدة منهن يعتقها ويتزوج بها.
