محمد ﺴـــﻴﺪ الكونين والثقليــــن نبينا الآمرُ الناهي فلا أﺤـــــــــــﺪ هو الحبيب الذي ترجى شفاعـته دعا إلى الله فالمستمسكون بــه فاق النبيين في خَلقٍ وفي خُلـُقٍ وكلهم من رسول الله ملتمـــسٌ |

Praise be to Allah who is alone in possessing His most splendid Name, and is the Owner of unconquerable might. Praise be to Allah who is Unique having the highest Names, the Owner of tremendous might, having neither beginning nor end. He is apparent, not by imagination or guesswork. The Preeminence of the Holy Prophet
This epistle has been written by Shaykh al-Islam Abul Fayd Sidi al-Hajj Ibrahim ibn Abdullah Niass al-Maliki al-Ashaari Tijani (d. 1390/1975) of Kaolack, Senegal (may Allah be pleased with him), in order to confute the gossip of those who disown the preeminence of the Holy Prophet Sidna Mohammed ibn Abdellah (peace and blessing be upon him). The Light of the Holy Prophet
